Many restaurants will give you a free meal/dessert if you visit on your birthday (with proper ID) if another meal (a friend's meal) is purchased alongside yours. Phone some of your favourite restaurants and ask if they will offer you anything for your birthday, and visit only those that will give you something!

sing up for their birthday clubs . At sonic, you can get a free kids meal on your birthday, same at Burger King. When Domino's was doing that survey promotion, You ordered pizza, got a survey invitation, and I answered that I wasn't happy with the pizza, the manger called a couple weeks later and credited all my money back, it was like 20.00

Well I will tell you this...if your experience with a restaurant is less then satisfying you can legitimately email them to let them know what happened. Talk to them about the whole experience. Management loves to hear about how to improve there restaurant. They might give you a free dinner or a certain amount off. Include everything...name of server and time you were there. Now only do this if you have had a less them satisfying experience...I wouldn't recommend doing it for kicks. Good luck!!
