How do you get free music on your ipod ?

I just got a new ipod and i want to download music, but I don't want to spend money on songs. How do I get free songs? I already have limewire but i got a new internet and i can't download songs on limewire anymore for some reason.

You can put CDs on your iPod, so any CDs you have lying around the house, put them on the iPod. Get CDs from friends, too, and you can get CDs from the library also. iTunes also does free downloads, so you can check there (there's a google gadget for it) for stuff that you like. You can also put YouTube videos on iPods and you can put DVDs on iPods, too. I think Napster also does free music, but I don't know if that's legal. Well, there's a lot of different ways to get free music on your ipod. One is limewire, but that obviously isn't working for you. If you have a mac, you should try a program called acquisition it's similar to limewire. If you don't there are still other programs to use. One is frostwire. IF ALL OF THIS FAILS THERE IS STILL ONE MORE THING TO TRY: First: go to www.jimmyr.com Then, look to the right and enter the song that you want to download. Then press enter. After that, choose an index. Once you fine what you think is the song, right click it and press save target as, then type what you want the name of the file to be, and press save. You can now play the mp3s on itunes. I hoped this helped.

archive.org-- has lots of live shows like widespread panic, string cheese incident, grateful dead... just download them first, then you might have to convert them, then move them to your ipod... i have tons of live shows like this
